REVALUATION UPDATE – July, 2010
The revaluation for the Town of Schleswig is nearly completed. Mike Denor and his staff have completed contacting all property owners asking them to view their property. If you have not been contacted by either Joe or Mike Denor, please call to schedule an appointment. Call 1-800-236-1638weekdays between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. PLEASE NOTE: The assessors will continue to take appointments until August 6; after this date any property that was denied the opportunity to be viewed will be valued by estimates using the best information available.
Expect the 2010 Notices of Assessment to be mailed in mid August.The 2010 Board of Review is scheduled for Wednesday, September 8th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.Open book dates will be posted to the website soon.

GIANT HOGWEED HAS BEEN DISCOVERED IN THE TOWN OF SCHLESWIG.
To combat this dangerous invasive plant we are requesting property owners identify this plant before it goes to seed in July.

NOTE TO PROPERTY OWNERS
The $28.00 charge which shows up on property tax bills as "OTHER SPEC C" is a one-time charge for the address signs which were installed throughout the town earlier this year.
